About Me

Thanks so much for checking out my site!  

I'm Christin, the girl behind The Auburn Fox.  My hope is that this will be a place where I can document the journey of making our house a home.

A little about me.  I'm a newly wed!  My husband, Rex and I were married in the spring of 2013 after a year of dating.  He is my biggest cheerleader and my best friend.

We spent a year saving money and living in a basement apartment.  We finally found a great house in a great neighborhood.  Less than a week later, we adopted our pup, Teddy, a Husky/Lab mix.  He fits in great and is learning to get along well with our two cats, Stan and Margot. 

By day I work as a Customer Service/Purchasing for a local Kitchen and Bath distributor.  My free time is spent on our house, whether that's cleaning, decorating, or shopping for it. 

I love painting, decorating, crafting and everything in between,, but I hate the prep work.

I am not a perfectionist and my house is usually a big mess.

I can't relax when I know there is stuff that needs to be done, which drives my husband crazy!
